This was a new event for 2010 focusing on Chatsworth Road and the Brampton area.

There was a strong harvest theme to the event with Transition Chesterfield holding their annual ‘harvest swap’ at the event. Lots of apples were pressed and turned into a delicious drink. Other stalls were selling plants too.

The park is quite small but we brought in lots of fun things to do - music, food and workshops for you to make something to take home.

Food wise we have vegan hot dogs and cakes plus teas & coffee and soft drinks available. Fairtrade coffee beans were supplied by Northern Tea Merchants and ground on a pedal powered coffee grinder.

Our historical character from the first world war told what it was like for the Brampton men who went to fight in France and did you know the rum jars used were made in Chesterfield?

Representatives of the council and Community Forum were on hand to

discuss local issues.

Continuing our sustainable theme there was no car parking provided.
